ABOUT YOU:
We believe that real media impact comes from having a holistic understanding of consumers, culture, channels, content and commerce. As such, we are looking for a Manager, Integrated Media Strategy & Planning who shares this approach and wants to join a talented team of growth marketers. This role is equal parts research and insight development as well as a strategic client partner. This person will join us as a key member of our strategy team; working alongside the directors to provide robust data based strategies to our clients while also helping to guide larger cross functional teams on their ongoing optimizations.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor for internal cross-functional team members and external partners and become a steward of integrated planning and strategy core practices and solutions.
You'll be responsible for:
Planning
- Pulling together research insights from Competitive data (Pathmatics, Vivvix, Similarweb), Audience Research (GWI), Landscape insights (eMarketer, business journals), Client Data (GA, CM, META etc) and 1P data
- Developing and contributing to full funnel media and data driven strategies based on research insights.
- Support the creation of holistic communication plans and corresponding media strategies; from setting objectives & KPIs, audience sizing, profiling, targeting, determining media channel mix and potential tactics/partners, budget setting to measurement frameworks
- Closely partner and collaborate with interconnected internal teams such as Client Services, Creative Services, Activation and Data Sciences when creating and executing holistic media campaigns
- Work along a range of cross-discipline teams both within the agency and client’s team alike, building a collaborative and trusting relationship along the way
- Participate in new business development and other growth opportunities
Collaboration
Is a trusted advisor for internal functional team members and external partners and becoming an expert within integrated planning
- Ability to boost morale and develop team culture - being a positive example and growing careers of junior team members alike

- Strong communication and presentation skills and is able to contribute to a client presentation confidently on their own
- Strong analytical mind and strategic thinker / problem solver and is solution-oriented
You'll need to have:
- 4+ years of hands-on in cross-channel media planning & optimization inclusive of all digital channels; knowledge and experience in traditional channels is preferred but not mandatory
- 4+ years of experience in connections and/or communications planning with a paid-owned-earned-shared perspective, while at an agency or client
- 4+ Experience with media industry research and planning tools (i.e. ComScore, MRI, GWI, Kantar, Pathmatics)
- 1 year minimum of client facing experience and management experience
- Understanding of brand and performance media and the synergy across the two
- Able to clearly and concisely articulate a persuasive point of view, both written and verbal, presenting to project stakeholders
- Curious and creative, while rigorous and analytical.
- Strong collaboration, client relationship, and leadership skills
- Experience navigating cross-functional teams and dynamics

The anticipated salary range for this position is $77,000-$110,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
